As I said in Cairo, each nation gives life to democracy in its own way, and in line with its own traditions.But history offers a clear verdict: Goverments that respect the will of their own people, that govern by consent and not coercion, are most propperous, they are more stable, and more successful than governments that do not. This is about more than just holding elections.It's also about what happens between elections. Repression can take many forms, and too many nations, even those that have elections, are plagued by problems that condemn their people to poverty. No country is going to create wealth if its leaders exploit the economy to enrish themselves or if police can be bought off by drug traffickers. No business wants to invest in a place where the goverment skims 20 percent off the top or the head of the Port Authority is corrupt. No person wants to live in a society where the rule of law gives way to the rule of brutality and bribery. That is not democracy that is tyranny,even if occasionally you sprinkle an election in there. And now is the time for that style of governance to end. In 21st centuary, capable, reliable,and transparent institutions are the key to success, strong parliaments; honest police forces; independent judges; an independent press; a vibrant private sector; a civil society. Those are the things that give life to democracy, because that is what matters in people's everyday lives.

回复删除我的理解是“人善”就是自己放弃争取应有的权力，所以某些人见此便会畅所欲为！

马来西亚是个很好的地方，因为天灾少，百姓不需担心旱灾，地震或洪水。。。
回复删除即使我是华人不处于中国，我还是觉得很荣幸的我来自马来西亚。
但近几年来，马来西亚的政治“弄坏”本来美好的一切。。
华人都开始被质疑，甚至被挨骂为“笨蛋”。。
我们还能觉得很荣幸的来自马来西亚吗？

回复删除偉強以（明福門）取代明福事件。小生感觉明福并不是丑闻人物。
用明福门是否恰当？ 闹丑闻的是反贪污委员会。是不是叫 ［反贪门］比较恰当。
奈何，偉強把他的BLOG的民调写为：［明福事件，要叫做「明福門」，要國陣馬上還政於民，舉行全國大選。］ 支持／不支持
是不是有误导的成份存在？
小生想寻求大家的意见，也请大家反应（明福門）还是［反贪门］那个比较恰当？
